Bono Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kwame Baffoe popularly known as Abronye DC, has made explosive allegations of financial mismanagement against former President John Mahama.
In an exclusive interview with Kwaku Dawuro on Movement In The Morning show, Abronye DC alleged that Mahama diverted $15 million allocated for developmental projects in the Western Region into a different account without the knowledge of then-President Fiifi Atta Mills during his tenure as Vice President.
He further alleged that the funds were squandered, and when the case was reported to the CID headquarters, the officer in charge found Mahama guilty. However, in a shocking twist, the CID officer in charge of the case has gone missing up till date, fueling speculation about a possible cover-up.
Abronye DC expressed frustration with the NDC’s response to criticisms and vowed to defend himself against attacks by targeting the party’s leader.
He also offered to provide further details to support his allegations, claiming that he has evidence to back up his claims.
