Commonwealth Games Day 7: Team Ghana Key Events As Azamati, Safo-Antwi Make 100m Semis

Following an encouraging performance on Tuesday, August 2, Ghana will be presented an opportunity to make a mark at the ongoing Commonwealth Games on Wednesday, August 3.

Sprinters, Benjamin Azamati and Sean Sarfo-Antwi, made the cut for the semifinals of the men’s 100m event after finishing first and fourth in their respective Heats on Day 6.

Bronze medalist at the 2018 Games, Jessie Lartey lost his fight against England’s Mohammed Harris Akbar while Ghana’s men’s hockey team secured a 1-1 draw against Canada with the women suffering yet another loss.
