Broadcast Journalist Dasebre Agyei Dwamena has issued an unqualified apology to Rev. Owusu Bempah for comments made on “Movement In The Morning” that sparked controversy.
In a heartfelt apology on Movement TV and Wontumi Radio, Dasebre acknowledged his mistakes and sought forgiveness.
“Rev. Owusu Bempah, it was this same place that I sat to spew the allegations against you… I didn’t get my facts right. So, this morning, I would like to apologize to you”, he remorsefully said.
Dasebre emphasized the challenges of journalism, noting that mistakes can occur despite best efforts.
“Our kind of job is an information-based job… There are times we get it correct, and other times it goes wrong. I didn’t get it right, and thus, would like to apologize for any damaged caused to your reputation”, he added.
