A communicator of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Awal Mohammed, has advised the Special Prosecutor Kissi Agyebeng, to date back his investigations for a holistic result.
Speaking on the recent report released by the SP, Awal Mohammed applauded Kissi Agyabeng for his tremendous effort in the fight against corruption.
‘’As part of fighting corruption, President Akufo created the SP office to bring to the limelight people who are hoarding state properties and funds. The former SP, Martin Amidu did nothing within two years of being in office and now he has released 20-page report to justify Kissi Agyabeng’s report is hollow”, he said.
He added that ”I do not want to believe he is probing further into the customs issue because Col. Damoah called him a small boy, and now he is saying they should halt auction sales until investigations are done. I agree with his auction investigation but it should be dated back to 2012 to achieve the desired result”.
He stated that SP job is a backed by the President and the support of the state.
