A communications member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Alfred Kumi popularly known as Adenta Kumi, has said that declaring the Dome-Kwabenya seat vacant does not mean the party hates the former Minister Gender, Children and Social Protection, Hon. Sarah Adwoa Sarfo.
His comment comes after parliament has set to decide on Adwoa Sarfo’s fate today 26th November, 2022.
Adwoa Safo was sacked by President Akufo-Addo on July 28, 2022, following her long absence at the Ministry.
Speaking to Kwaku Dawuro on Movement In The Morning Show he said that ‘’I have not had details of what she is going through and I have come to a point in life where I have come to understand that a lot of things come together for people to change, we need to keep her in our prayers’’
‘’The privilege committee will decide her fate and definitely they will end up with what’s good for government and the party. We all know the outcome. Dome kwabenya needs a representative but we need to do it in a peaceful manner. She knows the party is not doing this out of hatred. We love her and at the same time what’s what is best for the party’’.
