A marriage Counselor, Mrs. Charlotte Oduro, has called on Ghanaians who have the notion that nurses are not reliable when it comes to marriage, to do away with that negative thinking.
Speaking with Kwaku Dawuro on a One – on – One interview on Movement in the Morning Show on Movement TV and Wontumi Radio in Accra, Mrs. Oduro urged men who want to marry nurses and midwives to see their partners as unique and treat them as such.
This comes after a caller on the show had asked if it’s good to marry a nurse, because he’s heard a lot about nurses.
But in response Counsellor Charlotte Oduro asked that “are nurses not human being? You’re the one going to marry not your friends- you should let them know that if nurses are not good, then yours is better”.
Stressing that “we open our relationship to the public and allow friends to decide on who we should go out with which is very bad. You’re the one going to live with her so if you’re content with her, why do you seek the advice of friends”.
According to her, perhaps his friends haven’t had a woman who is a nurse and hence the reason they are trying to pollute him.
“My brother, if you’re ok with her and you love her, go ahead and marry her”, she concluded.
