The publication on the Facebook page of Peace 104.3 FM that Akonta mining site structures have been destroyed is false and malicious.
According to management of Akonta Mining Company Ltd, they do not have such structures at the Tano Nimiri Forest reserve as seen in the post and has therefore urged the general public to disregard such publication.
When contacted by Movementtvonline.com, management of Akonta Mining company Ltd noted that they were not contacted by Peace FM for confirmation on whether or not, their structures have been destroyed, and yet went ahead to make such false publication.
It went further to say that Akonta Mining company Ltd hasn’t started operations in the Tano Nimiri forest reserve. The structures and equipment as seen in the fake publication by peace FM belongs to some galamseyers and not Akonta Mining Ltd.
