Do You Want Free SHS Policy Or Guinea Fowls?- Atta Sarpong Asks Ghanaians

Deputy Ashanti regional organizer for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Atta Sarpong has asked Ghanaians not to behave like an Israelite who easily forget good things done for them.

He said it will be very unfair on the part of Ghanaians to easily forget the numerous interventions, policies and social infrastructures by the Akufo-Addo-Bawumia led government and vote the NPP out in 2024.

He highlighted free SHS as one of the policies that makes NPP stands out among the others.

“Most Ghanaians feel the free SHS policy is normal, forgetting that it takes a visionary leader to implement such a policy. Typical Israelite character, once they begin to live comfortably, then they tend to forget the good deeds they had received. When the Ghanaian man plies a road full of potholes, he will definitely rain insults on the government, but once the road is fixed, they forget to even acknowledge the effort of the government”, he said.

Adding that Ghanaians should never consider the NDC as an alternative.

“In June 2015, every Ghanaian knew that the NPP had promised to implement free SHS policy if elected. We are in June 2023 with a year more to the general elections, yet the NDC hasn’t been able to tell Ghanaians what policies they were going to implement if elected except for rearing of fowls”, he emphatically stated.

He asked Ghanaians what they will choose between free SHS policy and guinea fowls.
