The American president, Donald Trump, is planning to deport non-citizens, including Ghanaian social media commentator Twene Jonas.
According to the morning show team of Movement TV, Twene Jonas is now living in fear, hesitant to leave his home, as he risks being deported to Ghana or arrested.
This development comes after Trump has announced to implement the “largest deportation program in American history” having been re-elected. Twene Jonas, however, remains defiant, stating that Trump cannot get him arrested since he is “irrelevant” to him.
The team advised Ghanaians living in America without proper documentation to remain calm but vigilant.
They also appealed to Ghanaians who might be contributing to the deportation of their fellow citizens to cease such actions, as the Ghanaian president cannot assist them if they are deported or arrested.
Ultimately, the team urged Donald Trump to reconsider his deportation plans.
