The Communications Director for the New Juaben South Constituency of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Eugene Nana Yaw Brempong, has praised Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, also known as NAPO, as a hardworking individual who played a crucial role in implementing the free Senior High School (SHS) policy during his tenure as Minister of Education.
He also commended NAPO’s achievements in the energy sector, where he helped resolve power challenges and even secured a power plant for the Ashanti region.
Brempong expressed his excitement about the commencement of the campaign, which will traverse the country from the Northern region to Accra.
He confidently stated that the ticket of Dr. Bawumia and Dr. Opoku Prempeh is the winning ticket for Ghana, emphasizing NAPO’s energy, passion, and dedication to political work.
Brempong also took a jab at the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), stating that they lack educated personalities and are collapsing.
He attributed this to the success of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s free SHS policy, which has enabled all students writing the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) to enjoy free SHS. Brempo urged Ghanaians and party members to remain patient and vote for Dr. Bawumia and his running mate, Dr. Opoku Prempeh, to secure victory in the 2024 election.
