Communications member for Dr. Bawumia’s campaign team, George Kwarteng has disclosed that the support Dr. Bawumia garnered when he visited Ashanti region, is the same support delegates in the Northern belt of the country has given him.
Speaking on Movement in the morning show with Kwaku Dawuro, on Movement TV, he noted that delegates need a flagbearer who has vision for the party and is a marketable candidate that could help the party win the 2024 elections. The tribe of the candidate is not a factor.
“I will want to use this opportunity to urge Ghanaians not to pay attention to what the NDC says about the government. We need to continue having faith in the incumbent government. The NDC knows that when Dr. Bawumia becomes the Presidential candidate for NPP, he will surely win the 2024 elections and that is exactly the reason they are always denigrating the credibility of Dr. Bawumia”, he explained.
“For every constituency we have visited, Dr. Bawumia tells his vision and plans for the party. He does that devoid of insults and attacks. He speaks to delegates based on what he intends to do”, he said.
Dr. Bawumia is currently on a tour in the northern belt of the country. Speaking to delegates to vote for him in the November 4 Presidential primaries.
