Ebony’s Family Evoke Tears With Emotional Tribute At Her Graveside

Family of the late superstar, Ebony paid her an emotional tribute on the sixth year of her passing.

The family gathered at the Osu cemetery for a wreath-laying ceremony in her honour.

They then took turns to share few words – a gesture that evoked memories and tears.

With a voice choked with emotion, Ebony’s mother prayed for her soul and asked her and other ancestors to protect them from premature death, accidents, sorrow and unfulfilled dreams.

Ebony’s sister, Yaa Foriwaa Opoku-Kwarteng, was lost for words as she allowed tears trickle down freely on her face.

She prayed for her sister’s soul to continue to rest in peace.

Her father, Mr Opoku-Kwarteng used the opportunity to advocate for road safety to avert similar situation that befell his daughter on February 8, 2018 on the Sunyani road.
