The communications director of the ruling New Patriotic Party(NPP), Stephen Kwasi Acquah, have described former President John Mahama as a self acclaimed economist and Seth Tekper the former Finance Minister as a messiah, stating they are offering solutions they never implemented while in power.
He said this when he joined Kwaku Dawuro on Movement In The Morning Show.
Speaking he said that ‘’John Mahama is criticizing everything President Akufo-Addo does . We have a former President who only criticize the government meanwhile he has never been a President for seven years. The truth is every government meets it difficulty in the second term and even Mahama himself could not survive his first term. All of a sudden, he (Mahama) is the best economist and Seth Tekper has become the messiah. They left Ghana in Dumsor and it took the NPP to fix it”
Adding his voice to the call for reshuffling of the Finance Minister, Mr Acquah stated that ”I perfectly agree with Ghanaians for the call for reshuffling of the Finance Minister but where I beg to differ is the NPP’s who are calling for the change because we brought it upon ourselves due to internal politics, and destroying one another for our personal interest”.
He added that the agenda of President Akufo-Addo to massively develop the country.
