A member of the NPP communications team, Lawyer Yaw Adomako Baafi, has opined that the opposition NDC will agree to the argument, that their flagbearer cannot compete with the Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.
He stated that Ghanaians do not believe in the NDC.
He told Kwaku Dawuro on Movement In The Morning show on Movement TV, that since John Dramani Mahama had mentioned earlier that he appointed Professor Nana Jane Opoku Agyemang as his running mate for integrity sake, then they must walk the talk.
“What is Prof. Nana Jane going to produce, different from what she was able to do during her tenure as Education minister, likewise what their flagbearer, John Mahama did during his tenure as Vice President and subsequently substantive President, done before…”, he asked.
He went further to state that what makes this particular election interesting is the fact that NPP has a visionary, competent candidate, whom the NDC knows that he’s more competent than their candidate.
“We have a competent leader who is a loyal subordinate…. He has humbled himself to understudy from his boss, Akufo-Addo. We know that Bawumia’s record is peerless. There’s not even a single corruption case that has been leveled against him. Meanwhile, Mahama could be tagged to a lot of corruption cases including Bus Branding, Government official 1”, he added.
“Today, when you visit the DVLA, MASLOC, HEALTH INSURANCE AUTHORITY, ECG, they are all operating with a paperless system”, he said.
