Coach Annor Walker has assured Ghanaians that the Black Galaxies will improve when they face Sudan on Thursday in the ongoing 2022 African Nations Championship (CHAN).
Following their group opener loss to Madagascar last Sunday, the Black Galaxies find themselves in a difficult situation to advance from Group C.
However, the coach has expressed confidence in his team ahead of the Sudan clash, stating that the players are well aware of how important the game is to them.
“After the game, the players were really down because we lost the game. We have met as a team and I can see how focused they are on Thursday’s game.
“They know what is at stake on Thursday. They are ready and their attitude will be different on Thursday”, he said.
The clash with Sudan will be the final group match for Ghana, due to Morocco’s withdrawal from the competition.
Following CAF’s decision to award Ghana and the other two teams of Group C, three points each due to Morocco’s absence, the Black Galaxies will aim to win at all cost to qualify for the quarter-final of the competition.
