John Mahama’s vote, Kojo Bonsu’s plus spoilt ballots counted during the National Democratic Congress’ (NDC) presidential primary, amounted to over 100%, David Boakye has pointed out.
The Bono East regional Secretary for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) concern, reinforces the perception that the NDC used a fraudulent register for their election as claimed by Dr. Kwabena Duffuor’s campaign team.
Speaking on the Wontumi Morning Show which was monitored by Wontumionline.com, David Boakye made a simple calculation stating that “add Mahama’s votes to that of Kojo Bonsu, it will amount to 99.8% You will be left with are 0.2% to hit 100%. Then add the spoilt ballots which obviously went for Duffuor. Put the entire thing together and it is more than 100%.”
Allotey Jacobs speaks on NDC register
Former Central Regional Chairman for the National Democratic Congress, Mr. Bernard Allotey Jacobs, has praised Dr. Kwabena Duffuor for pulling out from the party’s presidential primary noting that the entire process has been fraught with irregularities.
In an interview with Gordon Asare-Bediako on Movement TV which was monitored by Wontumionline.com, Mr. Allotey Jacobs the register being used by the NDC to elect their flagbearer has serious issues which won’t make the process fair to any contestant participating in it except Mr. John Mahama.
Speaking on the album being used, the former NDC Chairman stated that “they want Joseph to become Mary and Mary, Joseph. How does Mary grow beard and Joseph wear kaba?”
Koku raises similar concern
The register used by the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to elect John Mahama as flagbearer is not credible, Mr. Koku Anyidoho has sadly said.
Taking a direct swipe at his own party, the former deputy General Secretary for the NDC said “the register is not credible. You want to run an election based on fraud. Go ahead and crown somebody 99% or 100%.”
According to Mr. Anyidoho, prior to the elections Dr. Kwabena Duffuor’s team had met with the national executives of NDC to demand for the register which would be used but were denied.
