A family of three has taken up a vigil at the Economic and Organized Crime Office (EOCO) in support of Chairman Wontumi, who was arrested and detained.
According to a report by our reporter, Ofori Atta, one member of the family, who identified himself as Akufo-Addo, stated that they couldn’t remain silent in Kumasi while their admired leader was being held at EOCO.
The family members arrived prepared, bringing essential items such as gari, sugar, and other foodstuffs to sustain themselves during their stay.
They’ve been at EOCO since Tuesday and insist they won’t leave until Chairman Wontumi is released.
