Personnel from the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) successfully rescued a woman who found herself stuck atop a pillar under the Kwame Nkrumah Circle Interchange.
The circumstances that led to the woman being in such a precarious position remain unclear, prompting questions about her mental state.
The rescue operation attracted a crowd of traders and commuters who gathered to watch as firemen worked diligently to bring her to safety.
The woman, whose identity has not been disclosed, was eventually brought down without any reported injuries.
Authorities are continuing to investigate how the woman ended up on the pillar and are providing her with the necessary support and care.
