A member of the NPP communications team, Alfred Ababio Kumi, also known as Adenta Kumi, has emphasized the importance of a Presidential debates.
Speaking on Movement In The Morning show with Sit-in host Gordon Asare Bediako, Adenta Kumi stated that debates bring out the details of a candidate’s past, share ideas, and showcase their vision and record.
Kumi noted that it’s typically the opposition that calls for debates, as it allows candidates to express their policies and visions, enabling Ghanaians to make informed decisions. He acknowledged John Mahama’s skill as a communicator and debated but praised Dr. Bawumia as a visionary leader who effectively balances his campaign tours with his duties as Vice President.
Kumi commended Patricia Agyei for her clarity on issues in parliament and encouraged NDC members and leaders to focus on collating figures rather than hosting press conferences. He confidently stated that even if the NDC brings in international support, the NPP will still win the 2024 elections.
Kumi urged Ghanaians to remain calm and vote for Dr. Bawumia as the next President of Ghana.
