Focus On Kwabir East To Curb Traffic Jam- Ashanti Regional Nasara Coordinator

Ashanti regional Nasara coordinator and middle belt coordinator development fund, Alhaji Saalim Bamba says government should focus on Kwabir East roads to curb traffic issues.

In a quest to veer government’s attention, Alhaji lamented in an interview with Kwaku Dawuro, on Movement In The Morning, on Movement TV/Wontumi radio about the heavy traffic jam in Kwabir east as a result of bad roads.

He suggested that commencement of construction of the Kwabir East roads should take effect since the Suame interchange is yet to be constructed.

According to him ”On a personal note, earlier when we had the conversation about the Suame interchange, i was of the view that since construction of the Suame interchange roads haven’t started, we should concentrate more on the Kwabir East rather, if it is traffic related issues we are talking about and we want to solve and curb it.

I was wondering why the engineers in charge of our roads won’t give an advice that Kwabir East which lead to Antoa, Adesina, Dwaben and what have you, is a huge traffic we would have solved if cars going to come from the Suame interchange, Salaga, Atebubu, Amasaman wouldn’t use the interchange, but would rather divert from Manso Nkwanta which will lead them to Ejisu, or through Kwabir East to Antoa before reaching Kumasi. Which would mean the traffic has been solved.”
