For The Sake Of The Unity Of The Party, All Presidential Candidates Should Be Made To Contest- Paul Opoku

First vice Chairman for Dome Kwabenya constituency, Paul Opoku, has advised that for the sake of the unity of the party, all persons involved in the Presidential race of the New Patriotic Party, should be made to contest.

Paul Opoku expressed his grave concern regarding one of the ways to prevent distortion of the NPP, in an interview with Kwaku Dawuro, on Movement In The Morning, which airs on Movement TV/Wontumi radio.

According to him all ten candidates deserve to contest the Presidential race, devoid of any offense.

”When you take Bawumia, he’s a vice President, when you take Hon Kennedy Agyapong he is an MP, Trade Minister has also has vied for it before, Hon Boakye Ayako was a minister, Kofi Konadu Apraku was a minister. So if all these people have had a position in the party before with some still holding positions, I’d say from my perspective that at the end of the day all of them are fine gentlemen, and for the sake of the unity of the party, all the ten should be allowed to contest unless there is a serious infringement,” he said.
