Atsu, who was confirmed dead in February following the tragic Turkey earthquake, was laid to rest on Friday, March 17 at the State House in Accra.

The funeral was attended by a large gathering of top personalities, family, and friends.
During the final funeral rites, which included filing past the remains, emotions ran high as most people broke down in tears after seeing Atsu’s motionless body.
Kuffour and Paintsil were no exception and were deeply affected by the experience.
