Former President Mahama’s Promises Are Empty- Jeff Konadu Addo

Eastern regional Chairman for the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Jeff Konadu Addo, has dismissed promises made by the former president during his recent visit to Koforidua in the Eastern Region.

Chairman Konadu described the former president’s pledges as mere “bluffs,” emphasizing that the current administration has already achieved what the opposition is promising.

Speaking on the former leader’s vow to transform the Koforidua metropolis if reelected, Mr. Konadu confidently stated, “There’s nothing to be done because we have already done everything, he claims he will do when voted for.”

He highlighted the construction of the Juaben Park as a testament to the government’s commitment to development, describing it as “beautiful.”

Speaking to Kwaku Dawuro on Movement In The Morning show on Movement TV/ Wontum Radio, he expressed his faith in the electorate’s loyalty and discernment, saying, “We have a very healthy relationship with the Juaben community, and even the former president knows he won’t change their minds.” He concluded by stating that “God will not even allow” the former president to fulfill his promises.

The former president’s visit to Koforidua is seen as part of his campaign to regain political support in the region. However, Konadu’s response suggests that the current leadership is unshaken by the opposition’s efforts.
