The Peoples National convention (PNC) has expressed its readiness to collaborate with all political parties and stakeholders to ensure that elections 2024 is conducted in a free, fair, transparent and peaceful manner.
PNC said it believes it’s the collective responsibility all political parties to safeguard the country’s electoral process and respect the will of the people.
Contained in a statement signed by the Acting Chairman of the party Mr. Bala Maikankan, it noted that the “PNC firmly believes that every citizen should have equal access to opportunities and resources, regardless of their socio-economic background and or geographical location. In pursuit of this ideal, we implore the next presidential candidates of sister political parties to articulate a comprehensive vision that addresses critical sectors such as education, healthcare, job creation, infrastructure and good governance among others”.
The PNC extended its warmest congratulations to the flagbearer-elect of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama and other 212 parliamentary candidates who were elected over the weekend.
“The PNC reaffirms its commitment to constructive engagement and healthy democratic discourse. We are ready to collaborate with all political parties and stakeholders to ensure that the forthcoming elections are conducted in a free, fair, transparent and peaceful manner. It is our collective responsibility to safeguard our electoral process and respect the will of the people”, the statement said.
In conclusion it said that may the 2024 elections be a testament to the strength of Ghana’s democracy and well-being of the nation.
