For a crowd of concert-goers of that magnitude, Global Citizen has raised the standards of concerts in Ghana. Aside from making sure people enjoy only the best sounds, Global Citizen Festival had free water bottles and refill stations dotted over the venue.
Marvelous initiative to provide free water and unlimited refills at the #GlobalCitizenFestival 🇬🇭.

Ghana has had its fair share of concert mishaps from terrible sounds, technical inadequacies, security loopholes and general unforeseen challenges.
But since last Saturday night, the Global Citizen Festival has been the talk of the town for its exemplary event management and execution.

Some patrons took to social media to share their experiences, hoping that local event planners and managers would take a cue from the Global Citizen Festival.
Yup loved this!
The super phone charging spots with personnel and security was dope too. https://t.co/dSZb6WTvvx— Phyna’s Protector (@JQ_bebe) September 25, 2022
Free, unlimited water at a location with hundreds of thousands of screaming fans packed together is more than a thoughtful gesture. It shows proper planning and foresight.
Nope unless you brought your along.
There two charging stations with like 20 charging boxes.
You leave your phone to charge, get a card number and come back to take your phone when ready.— Phyna’s Protector (@JQ_bebe) September 25, 2022
