GFA President Kurt Okraku Commissions Betpawa Park In Prampram

The President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku, has commissioned a new standard artificial football pitch funded by betPawa at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence on Tuesday, August 27, 2024.

The commissioning of the betPawa Park, which marks the completion of phase one of the project, took place this morning ahead of the 30th Congress of the Ghana Football Association.

President Simeon-Okraku emphasized that the construction of this modern astro turf is crucial for the growth and development of the Football Association.

betPawa has made a significant financial investment in the project, with phase one now complete.

Phase two of the development will include the construction of changing rooms, a VIP stand, and an additional stand for fans.

It is noteworthy that President Simeon-Okraku and betPawa shareholder Oluwatosin Ajibade initiated the project with a sod-cutting ceremony about a year ago.

The betPawa Park is part of the GFA’s approved master plan, which will feature a mini-stadium for international matches, a hotel facility, an administration block, beach soccer and futsal pitches, as well as additional natural and artificial football training pitches.
