GFA Renews Black Stars Sponsorship With KGL In GH₵20 Million Deal

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has extended its partnership with KGL Group in a renewed sponsorship agreement valued at GH₵20 million.

The new deal follows the conclusion of a previous GH₵14 million agreement, which spanned four years.

During a media briefing at KGL’s head office in Accra, Executive Chairman of the KGL Group, Alex Apau Dadey, shared his enthusiasm about the renewed collaboration.

“I was glad that this came up for renewal,” he said.

“I spoke with the Minister, and we decided that this would be the right time to sit down and discuss it together with the GFA President. One assurance I can give is that we’ll support the leadership of the Sports Ministry.

“The Minister pushed us very hard to come on board, reminding us about our responsibility as corporate citizens, and Kurt’s stewardship has shown us that the resources will be put to good use.”

GFA President Kurt Okraku also expressed appreciation for KGL’s unwavering support.

“We appreciate your commitment to helping Ghana football progress beyond where it is now. We believe your investment will benefit not only the national team but the entire football ecosystem. We will ensure that the resources invested are put to good use.”
