GH¢60,000 Rent, Car And Lavish Spending – Ogyaba On How Ex-Side Chick Took Advantage Of Him Over Pregnancy

Following his ex-side chick’s revelation of their secret relationship to the public, Prophet Emmanuel Akwasi Boakye, also known as ‘Ogyaba,’ has been on a ranting spree.

He has shared his side of the story and recounted how he has since suffered while he was with her.

Cassie, an ex-side chick of Prophet Ogyaba, stormed social media with claims of neglect, threats to her life, and other serious allegations.

She aimed to expose the prophet and make the world aware of their extramarital affair, among other things.

This revelation has left netizens in shock and disappointment, with many criticising the man of God.

According to netizens, they are disappointed Prophet Ogyaba whom they looked up to has been involved in such scandalous behaviour.

In his defence, Prophet Ogyaba admitted to having an affair with the woman and emphasised that he is not made of wood.

He said, like any human being, he is prone to mistakes.

However, in a series of follow-up rants, he went live with several TikTok influencers and shed more light on the situation.

He explained that things started being sour when the ex-side chick claimed she was pregnant with twins and became increasingly demanding and inconsiderate.

He mentioned that the lady insisted on moving into his home, and stayed there for a month, during which she allegedly made his life miserable.

The ‘Ogyaba Palace’ founder said he was forced to move out, but later, when his wife was set to return, he had to act quickly.

Subsequently, the ex-side chick told him she had found a place to live and demanded GH¢60,000 for one year’s rent.

He paid her this amount, along with an additional GH¢20,000 to furnish the apartment, after she provided a long list of items she wanted.

Prophet Ogyaba narrated how extravagant and demanding the lady became, including her request for two air conditioners; one for the babies’ room and the other for the nanny’s room.

“She claimed she stayed in my house for four months, but that’s a lie. She stayed for one month. And throughout her time there, I never set foot in the house. She stayed with me for just one month. On a Sunday, when my wife was about to return, I transferred GH¢60,000 to her for the rent of the new place. She rented the place for GH¢60,000 for one year. I also gave GH¢20,000 to my PA, Naa, to give to her,” he said.

“After receiving the money, she texted me, saying she was going to buy the items and then move out to her new place. She gave me a long list, including a carpet, a centre table, and so on. She asked for two air conditioners, saying she was expecting twins, one for the babies’ room and the other for the nanny’s room. All of that was a lie,” he added.

According to the prophet, that was the last time he saw her.

Later, she randomly texted him, saying her condition was deteriorating, and the doctor advised her to visit the hospital weekly.

She asked for money to cover her medical expenses.

“I hadn’t heard from her since then, but she would randomly text me asking for a pregnancy pillow, claiming she had fibroids and that the baby was lying next to it, so she needed to go to the hospital every week,” he said.

“One day, I asked her, ‘Are you pregnant with a tiger?'” he added.

Ogyaba mentioned that during this time, she still had possession of his car and was spending his money lavishly.

Worried about the situation, Prophet Ogyaba said he instructed his lawyers to issue a cease-and-desist letter to her, which she reluctantly accepted.

However, a few days later, her uncle called, claiming that she had slipped, fallen, and lost the pregnancy in the process.

Ogyaba expressed his disbelief, saying, “I asked my lawyers to send her a cease-and-desist letter to stop her from taking my money. Then, three days later, her uncle called and told me she slipped and lost the pregnancy. How could you tell me that?”

He believes that his decision to sever ties with her prompted her to go public with this exposé, which he perceives as an act of blackmail.

“This is a blackmail situation, and I will provide all the evidence,” he said.

He further asked that people should desist from judging him, stating, “A man of God is also a human being. I don’t breathe fire, I breathe air just like all of you. I am not a bad person.”
