The Chief Executive Officer of Public Sector Reforms, Thomas Kusi Boafo has advised youth who engage in violence for the purposes of their political parties, to desist from such act.
According to him, those are usually involved in such acts are not treated fairly after the party gains power. They turn to appoint learned individuals for positions, leaving the violent ones to continue doing the donkey job for the party.
He told Kwaku Dawuro on Movement In The Morning show on Movement TV/ Wontumi Radio, “in politics we have what we call political idiots, and I must categorically state that Ghana doesn’t need a political idiot. We need enlightened youth who are well-learned to help put Ghana on the map and not those who will be fighting for political parties”.
