Ghana Has Reached A Stage Where We Don’t Need People Like Kennedy Agyapong, JM Or Duffour As President- Lawyer Ampaw

Seasoned lawyer, Maurice Ampaw has opined that the current level Ghana has reached means it doesn’t need persons like Kennedy Agyapong, John Dramani Mahama or Kwabena Duffour to be at the helm of affairs.

Speaking during a monologue show on Wontumi TV which was monitored by Wontumionline.com, lawyer Ampaw made it clearer that Hon. Kennedy Agyapong who doubles as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Assin Central, is a “nonstarter” to be considered a flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to chase his presidential ambition.

It would be recalled that some weeks ago, lawyer Maurice Ampaw called on the leadership of the NPP to disqualify Hon. Kennedy from their flagbearership contest.

Until the MP for Assin Central renders an apology to the Judiciary for insulting a judge, lawyer Ampaw claims he shouldn’t be considered a part of the flagbearership contest.

“Agyapong has to be disqualified by the NPP. He is a non-starter; he has insulted the judiciary and must be facing jail term. He has even called for coupe d’etat”, lawyer Ampaw said as reasons to disqualify Mr. Kennedy Agyapong.

Mahama, Duffour are ‘bombs’

He didn’t spare former President John Mahama and former finance minister Kwabena Duffour. He described both men as ‘bombs’ who would do nothing to profit Ghanaians when given a chance.

Lawyer Ampaw stressed that former President John Mahama can only be President of Ghana for 4 years and this limitation would render his government useless if given the chance.

On the former finance minister, Kwabena Duffour, lawyer Ampaw maintained that he has failed to manage his own bank and that speaks volumes that he can’t manage the economy of Ghana.
