Ghana Has Shown Me More Love Than Nigeria – Nigerian Musician Oxlade [VIDEO]

In a heartwarming revelation, Nigerian musician Oxlade confessed that he receives more love and adoration from Ghana than his homeland.

This endearing sentiment was shared during a discussion about his debut album, “Oxlade from Africa,” specifically his collaboration with Ghanaian hip-hop icon Sarkodie.

In a recent interview, Oxlade, who is popular for songs such as Away, Arabambi, Wantb You and Intoxicated addressed the uproar surrounding his earlier posts on social media platform X.

The singer had alleged that certain “OGs” (industry veterans) were boycotting and blackmailing him.

Oxlade revealed that his frustration stemmed from individuals attempting to exert undue control and dominance in the Nigerian music industry. He emphasized his disdain for those who try to “play god” and stifle artistic freedom.

“If I’m being honest with you, Ghana has shown me more love than Nigeria.

“I hate the mindset of people trying to play god. When they feel like they can determine your trajectory. Sometimes they feel I see them outside and I don’t greet them well.”
