Ghanaians Shouldn’t Consider The NDC As An Alternative Due To Current Economic Situation- Information Minister Admonishes

Minister for Information, Honourable Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, has emphatically stated that the government has initiated a lot of developmental projects despite the global pandemic.

He noted that the current economic situation shouldn’t let Ghanaians think the NDC is an alternative to the current crisis.

“The government has been fair to everyone because there are a lot of tangible projects that Ghanaians could point to. Initiatives that have brought relief to the citizenry and improved upon their livelihood…what the government needs to do now is to ensure that policies are implemented to mitigate the effect of the crisis…Per what the government has been able to do despite the global pandemic which includes the continuous running of free SHS, plating for food and jobs, construction of roads, among others, is an indication that when given the nod to continue, the government will do more”, he said in an exclusive interview with Kwaku Dawuro on Movement In The Morning show on Movement TV.

He went further to state that there’s no government that has implemented and initiated the kind of developmental projects NPP has done.

He advised Ghanaians to look beyond the current hardship and think about the prospect of retaining NPP in power.

According to him, if Ghanaians have decided to vote for the NDC in the 2024 elections, then that’s a big mistake. Stressing that the NDC never did any better thing whiles in power.
