Going To The IMF Is For The Betterment Of The Country- Kafui Amegah (VIDEO)

A communications team member of the New Patriotic Party(NPP), Kafui Amegah, has emphasized that the decision by the Akufo-Addo led administration to go to the International Monetary Fund(IMF) for a bailout is for the betterment of the country.

Speaking to Kwaku Dawuro on Movement In The Morning Show on Movement TV/Wontumi Radio, Mr. Amegah said “there’s no government that can improve the living standards of the citizenry other than the NPP and this is why the government is committed to ensure this vision is materialized, hence the execution of the many policies whiles some are in the offing”.

“What’s wrong if we go to the IMF and we are able to provide decent meals for our school children and improve the socio-economic standard of the citizenry?”, he asked.

He advised Ghanaians to ignore the propaganda agenda of the NDC stressing that it’s their prayer that everything comes to a halt in the country.

“Look at what we were told by former President John Dramani Mahama during his administration before going to the IMF for support. That was when the country wasn’t faced with any crisis but the narrative is different in our case. Even Turkey’s inflation has risen to 80%. There are a lot of things we can do together if we stick to President Akufo-Addo and we move together,” he added.

According to him, the NDC’s fear they wouldn’t get the opportunity to come into government any longer due to what the NPP led administration has done.

“He will steer the country to a perfect finish and will go down in history as the best President,” he concluded.
