MCE for Amasaman constituency, Honorable George Wilkinson, says the most talked about Gold-for-oil initiative will put an end to corruption.
Speaking in an interview with Kwaku Dawuro, on Movement In The Morning, on Movement TV/Wontumi radio, Honorable Wilkinson stating some of the benefits of Gold-for-oil said that it will exterminate corruption in the country. According to him the initiative will be greatly beneficial for the country and ease the hardship in the lives of citizens.
” Whether Ghanaians will applaud or give thanks to God, there’s a saying that it is not wrong to go back for that which you have forgotten, so where the government has reached, the Gold-for-oil project it has initiated is a huge advantage for Ghanaians. It will eradicate most of the corruption cases because it is our gold reserve and the gold we mine that Bank of Ghana in partnership with PMC would work to purchase the oil in order to yield a reduction in sales of it to ease and better the lives of the citizens.”
