Dr. Antoinette Tsiboe-Darko, Deputy General Secretary and Executive Director of the Danquah Institute, has commended the current government’s significant investments in Ghana’s education sector, describing them as a game-changer.
In an interview on the “Movement in the Morning” show with Kwaku Dawuro on Movement TV, Dr. Tsiboe-Darko highlighted the government’s efforts beyond the free SHS policy, including infrastructure development, construction of school blocks, dormitories, teachers’ quarters, and more.
She noted that these investments have improved access to education and enhanced the learning environment, setting Ghana on a path to achieving its development goals.
Dr. Tsiboe-Darko also praised the government’s efforts to increase the number of Africa Centers of Excellence in universities from a few to nine, providing opportunities for advanced research and academic excellence.
