Eastern Regional captain for the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) volunteer group loyal ladies, Abigail Mensah, has noted with the expansion of the government’s school feeding program, more children had enrolled in school.
Speaking to Kwaku Dawuro on Movement in the morning show, she noted that as a teacher, she can boldly say that more children have gone back to school because of the expansion of the school feeding program by the current administration of NPP- because most parents were not able to afford for their wards hence the reason they had to drop out of school.
“I’ve been teaching for nine (9) years, and I know what I’m talking about. We’ve had more admission following the expansion of the school feeding program. This is just one out of the many social interventions by the NPP government, which has been very beneficial to Ghanaians because they’re pro-poor policies”, she said.
According to her, these are the more reasons she believes will aid the NPP break the eight-year jinx. “What is needed now is that we spread the good news”, she said.
Adding that there are alot of good things and interventions to be rolled if the NPP sustains power.
