A member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP)communications team, Benjamin Gyau better known as bengazy, has said that infrastructures built under the Akufo-Addo led administration is unprecedented and second to none.
According to him, Ghanaians should never be deceived by anyone who says anything otherwise.
Speaking on Movement in the morning show on Wontumi Radio/Movement TV, he said that “there may be people who would like to know the current stage of the much-touted 1D1F initiative. As it stands, there are a total number of Two Hundred and Ninety-six projects at various stages across the country with about One Hundred and Twenty-Six (296) operational like the Ekumfi fruit juice and Tano Tomato factory, which have begun manufacturing and distribution.
He disclosed that on a recent visit to Liberia, he came across a guy whom through series of conversation, disclosed that Ghana is really a progressive country, and would have even wished to further his education in Ghana.
“This is a clear indication that indeed Ghana is on the path of prosperity and government ought to be applauded for such a tremendous effort. I’m sure you’ve seen the road constructed currently ongoing at Teshie, likewise Burma camp. In areas like Haatso and Pokuase through to Ofankor, you can equally see the expansion ongoing. Therefore, when it comes to infrastructure, we are just second to none”, he told Kwaku Dawuro.
Adding that ” tell me which government has the wellbeing of the citizenry at heart, more than the Akufo-Addo government? One thing that we keep forgetting to talk about is the Livelihood Empowerment Against Poverty (LEAP), which was introduced by the former President J.A.kufuor- but was abandoned by the NDC administration until President Akufo-Addo assumed office”.
He further urged Ghanaian youth with entrepreneurial skills to take advantage of the government’s Youstart initiative.
