Parliamentary candidate for Assin north constituency, Charles Opoku has told the NDC to grow from their cheap propaganda.
According to him, the numerous allegation and criticism levelled against him by the opposition NDC in the constituency do not hold water and can never bring him down because he’s paid his dues to the good people of Assin North.
“My contribution to the development of Assin North can never be overlooked. For those saying I cannot contest in the constituency because I’m not a registered voter there despite the fact that that’s where I hail from are just ignorant of the law. In any case, I’m sure they have not been able to do even a quarter of what I have been able to do for Assin North. We work with laws in this country”, he told Kwaku Dawuro whiles speaking to him in an interview on phone on Movement TV.
He outlined some of the benevolence he’s extended to the constituents.
“I have given over 1,150 people free vocational training, paid for medical expenses for those who couldn’t afford. I have been supporting many youths since 2012 with capital to start a trade. This is the reality and I have evidence to prove that. I have been doing all these from my own coffers.
Stressing that ” it’s about time we advise the NDC to grow beyond the cheap propaganda. Let’s speak the truth that will bring growth and development to our people. We need to instill discipline in all aspect and spheres of our lives to benefit all other generations after us.
He advised whoever that is propagating lies about him to desist from doing so and rather make known his intentions if he would want to contest him rather than spewing all sort of lies.
