Greater Accra regional secretary for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Daniel Odarlai Parker, has disclosed that the executives of the party did all it could to ensure that Moses Abor rescinds his decision from contesting Henry Quartey in the upcoming primaries. However, he’s gone ahead to contest.
According to him, a committee was set up by the regional chairman to ensure that they are able to convince him to step down. Yet, he declined. It was taken a bit further to the Presidency (office of the Vice President) and that couldn’t also work.
“The party was left with no other option than to live him to contest. Since all available options have proven futile..However, most of the regional executives support Henry Quartey”, he told Kwaku Dawuro on Movement In The Morning show on Movement TV.
Moses Abor is contesting the incumbent MP, Henry Quartey in the Ayawaso Central constituency.
