Broadcast Journalist with Wontumi Multimedia, Dasebre Agyei Dwamena, has emphatically stated that NPP Presidential candidate Kennedy Agyapong, cannot provide proves to buttress his argument of creating jobs for 7000 people.
According to him, Kennedy Agyapong doesn’t even have two thousand workers and if he insists that he has seven thousand staff members, then he should provide data to it.
“I ‘m saying this on Movement TV today that Kennedy Agyapong doesn’t have employees of two thousand…if he says otherwise, then we should go to SSNIT and GRA to check with them, the number of staff members Kennedy Agyapong pays their contribution for…how many staff members does he have at cold store in Tema same as the fruit juice factory that had collapsed about seven years ago…How many employees are at ASH FM, NET 2 and OMAN FM… governance is not just about creating of Job…if it were to be so, Jospong should have been the President, or Dangote should have been the President in Nigeria”, he pummeled.Â
He notes that Kennedy Agyapong had always tried to entice delegates with money, forgetting that delegates will follow, applaud and help squander your money but will never vote for you, if you are not their favourite.
“You have made delegates understood that you are rich. Instead of you selling your ideas and visions to them, you decide to entice them with your money…. they are equally ready to help you spend it…nobody rejects money …however, once they have got their favourite, they will take your money but still vote against you…and that is exactly what will happen on November 4”, he said during the newspaper headlines on Movement In The Morning show. Â
He went further to state that money doesn’t win elections in Ghana. If it did, then Mahama should have still been the President.
“Prior to the 2016 elections, which of the candidates had more money than the then President Mahama….Yet he lost the elections…if elections were won based on riches, Mahama wouldn’t have lost…so it’s not about money but about the candidate…You are always accusing others of paying bribe, yet you are equally doing same”, he said.Â
