Black Stars assistant coach, Mas-Ud Didi Dramani, has heaped praises on Chris Hughton following the latter’s appointment as head coach of the senior national team.
Hughton was handed the head coach role following the resignation of Otto Addo after Ghana’s exit from the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
He will be assisted by George Boateng and Didi Dramani, two of whom were part of the country’s technical team at the global showpiece.
When asked by JoySports about what Hughton will bring on board, Didi said: “He is a human-centred person. He connects people a lot and the person who connects people a lot tells you that he is someone who really stands out for development.
“At that [Black Stars] level, you need people who will connect and work so that you bring your experience to bear so completely he is a human-centred person who connects people around,” the 56-year-old remarked.
The former Spurs and Newcastle United boss will be in charge of call-up for his first assignment against Angola in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers in March.
