National Youth Organiser for the New Patriotic Party, Salam Mustapha, has described the member of Parliament for Assin North, James Gyakye Quayson as a liar for going ahead to contest for his current position without meeting the criteria.
Speaking in an interview with Kwaku Dawuro, on Movement In The Morning, on Movement TV/Wontumi radio, Salam Mustapha expressed his disappointment in James Gyakye Quayson for his impertinence, in relation to failure of meeting the standards and going through the right process, which grants the right to contest for the MP position.
However Salam also revealed that James Gyakye Quayson’s incidence will cause an easy win for the NPP in the upcoming election, since his deceit and lies comes in as a disrespect to the country in the highest degree, and needs not to be pardoned.
”The campaign is going on well and my mindset has changed making me too convinced we will win this election, because it is the people that feed us with information. The people claim they did not know the man was a liar and have not set eyes on him after elections. When asked why he said the NPPs were attacking him which is not true. He has an issue with the law because he wasn’t truthful from the very onset and now he is facing the law.
I have never met him before so i have no business with him, but his bad behavior has now affected us all, and the people are angry because he has caused a backwardness. James Gyakye Quayson, if there’s anyone who has disrespected Ghana to the highest degree it is him. If you are wise he would have gone to renounce his dual citizenship and re-register,” he said.
