Broadcast Journalist, Godwin Asare Bediako, has questioned the moral right of Murtala Mohammed for describing the EC Chair as a shame.
According to him, the lawmaker is a shameless person and thus has no moral right to have described the Madam Jean Mensa as a shame when she appeared in Parliament to answer questions regarding the Commision’s proposed Constitutional Instrument (C.I.)
Speaking in an interview with Kwaku Dawuro on Movement In the Morning Show, he was however quick to applaud her for explaining to Parliament her reason for not honouring the initial invitation which was extended to her by the august house.
“I’m so happy she clarified things better before she began her presentation – because the NDC had created an impression as though the EC chair had snub Parliament when she was summoned by the house. Meanwhile, she was out of jurisdiction”, he said.
“After shamefully disgracing yourself, you have the guts to jeer the EC chair”, he fired the Tamale Central lawmaker.
Mr. Bediako urged the government to give the Electoral Commission (EC) the needed support and resources they need to run smooth operations.
