I Spent No Less Than $200K Every Month To Operate Five TV Stations To Speak For NPP- Chairman Wontumi

NPP Ashanti Regional Chairman, Bernard Antwi Boasiako, better known as Chairman Wontumi, has disclosed that he spends not less than $200,000 every month to operate five TV stations/ radios to project and speak for NPP.

This, he noted is because of his commitment to the party. With a tone of conviction and dedication, he shared the extent of his financial investment in supporting the party’s cause.

“Let me tell you, we operate five media houses – Billionaires TV in Sehwi Wiawso, Northern Gold in Tamale, Western Diamond in the Western Region, Movement TV in Accra, and Wontumi TV. Every month, we spend no less than $200,000 to keep these stations running. And it’s not just the operational costs – we have about 500 workers across these stations, all working tirelessly for the NPP, ” he said.

“It’s not normal to operate five media houses concurrently. I could have built a house with this money or invested it in other ventures. But because of our love for the party, we continue to pour our resources into these stations, supporting the NPP’s agenda and promoting its ideals,” he added.

When asked about his motivation behind such significant investment, Chairman Wontumi’s response was unequivocal. “I’ve served the party so well, and I don’t regret anything I’ve done for the NPP. The love we have for this party drives us to make these sacrifices. We’re committed to its growth and success, and we’ll continue to support it, no matter the cost.”
