Ashanti regional chairman of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Bernard Antwi- Boasiako has blatantly told NPP Presidential aspirant, Kennedy Agyapong that he will cause his arrest if he threatens him again.
This comes after Kennedy Agyapong attacked the Vice President, Dr. Bawumia, the majority leader, Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu, Ashanti regional Minister and the education minister, during his showdown walk he held in Kumasi.
“After you claim me and Dr. Bawumia are destroying the party, you always go round using distasteful words against party leaders like ‘kwasia, gyimifo’…How do expect us to win the 2024 elections. You need to be more reflective of some of his actions which could cause disunity in the party”, Chairman wontumi said during a press conference in Kumasi.
“If you threaten me again, I will cause your arrest. This is exactly what you did and the next moment, investigative journalist, Ahmed Suale was shot dead. I wouldn’t wait to be shot dead; I will ensure you’re arrested if you threaten me again”, he said.
