A former NASARA coordinator for the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Abubakar Suleman popularly known as Lakulaku has stated that Ghanaians believe in the NPP government that it could make Ghana better.
He told Kwaku Dawuro on Movement In The Morning Show that “with eight years we cannot finish what we have begun- we need enough time to continue and one thing we should know is that opposition doesn’t win power, it’s the government of the day that hands over power to the opposition. I’m therefore pleading with all party members and executives to work hard within these two years left”.
“As a Municipal Chief Executive, you represent the President and therefore you must know that every action of yours, affects the Party. Most of the seats we lost during the 2020 elections were caused by certain actions by the MMDCEs and not the Member of Parliament”, he said.
He urged the MPs to continue remaining ‘stupid’ in their respective constituencies and they will continue to win elections.
Adding that ” for me I’m not in government but will continue to struggle and die for the party- because I believe that the NPP is the only party that can make Ghana better than any other party. Let’s go down to the level of the ordinary Ghanaian because they help a lot. When you cannot help them, find something better to tell them”.
