‘I Will End Your Career If You Disrespect Me’ – Shatta Wale Warns Black Sherif

Ghanaian reggae/dancehall musician Charles Nii Armah Mensah, popularly known as Shatta Wale, has issued a warning to singer Black Sherif that he would end his career if he negatively criticizes him.

Shatta Wale took to X on November 4, 2024, to express his disapproval after Black Sherif had posted a picture of him on Snapchat, commenting on his style of dressing.

According to Shatta Wale, the “Kilos Milos” hitmaker should be cautious in how he addresses him in the music industry, or else he won’t hesitate to end his career.

“Black Sherif, you are new in the music industry. If you have heard them saying I have said something about you, you won’t go and watch the podcast and know the good things I said about you.

Blacko, this is the same thing Sarkodie did; now people think he is my enemy. Go and ask; I can end careers, and if you don’t take time, I would end yours,” he said.

Background

On October 31, 2024, Shatta Wale, in a discussion on the Bant, Rants and Confessions podcast, commented on Black Sherif’s style of dressing, stating that the singer could do better with his appearance.

This didn’t sit well with the “Kilos Milos” hitmaker, who took to Snapchat and posted a picture of Shatta Wale with the caption “I plaster everywhere.”

Some netizens have also expressed different views about the encounter between the two musicians.
