Member of the Communication team for the New Patriotic Party, Ellen Ama Daaku, has cautioned Ghanaians to not make the mistake of voting NDC back into power unless they want to live in darkness again.
Speaking in an interview with Kwaku Dawuro, on Movement In the Morning, on Movement TV/Wontumi radio, Ama Daaku noted that Ghanaians will relive the history of ‘dumsor’, coupled with the halting of free education amongst others. According to her the current economy will be worse if handed over to the NDC.
She asserted that ”There’s global hardship, but i want to remind Ghanaians that there was no COVID from the period of 2012 to 2016, yet we slept in darkness for 4 years. There was no global hardship or close of ports or borders, yet we slept in darkness to the point of hospital theaters lighting candles to be able to perform surgeries.
The president has good intentions because If i were Nana Addo, i would suspend free SHS for just a year so people would know how much the government is investing, because we do not have money. Seth Tekpe and Mahama enjoyed free SHS but do not want others to enjoy it. The NDCs will say just anything to make this government unpopular in their quest for power.”
She Further stated that ”I want you to understand that if we make a mistake and vote the NDC into power again, it won’t take up to a month for us to sleep in darkness again, because they will cancel free SHS, health insurance, Gold-for-oil and every project we’ve brought.”
