A national communications team member for NPP, Asomaning Patrick Darkwa, has disclosed that he’s ready fund the teaching of polling station executives for the NDC.
According to him, the usual allegation of the NDC against the government since 2016 when NPP won the elections must be curtailed. It is for this reason he’s advising the NDC to organize training and workshop for their polling station executives, so that if NPP wins the 2024 elections, they wouldn’t say the elections was rigged.
“I sometimes get hurt whenever I hear former President Mahama speaks. In any case, the 2020 elections taught us much as a political party and the need to protect our votes right at the polling station level and that is the reason it is said that elections are usually won at the polling station. After giving their officers little or training at all, they turn to blame the Electoral Commission of rigging the general elections…”, he said.
Speaking on Movement In The Morning show on Movement TV/ Wontumi Radio, he said that he’s ready to fully fund the workshop and training sessions for the polling station executives of the NDC, so they could receive the necessary training they need.
“I just wouldn’t want to hear the NDC accuse the EC of being in bed with NPP, when we win the 2024 elections..”, he added.
