A New Patriotic Party (NPP) Youth activist, Kwaku Quarshie, has dared aspiring Presidential candidate for NPP, Kennedy Agyapong to provide data to back his claims of creating Seven Thousand jobs for Ghanaians.
According to Mr. Quarshie, such claim by the Assin Central MP, is false and cannot be true.
He explained that even giant companies like MTN, ADB among other haven’t been able to employ Four Thousand staff members.
“I’m daring him to prove to Ghanaians that indeed he has created seven thousand direct jobs for Ghanaians. It’s never true. An entire institution like SSNIT, do not have staff members of even three thousand. MTN GHANA staff members are not even up to two thousand five- hundred (2,500). ADB has staff members not even up to one thousand eight hundred. Is Kennedy Agyapong trying to tell Ghanaians that he’s been able to employ more people than all these big institutions?“, he asked.
He further advised Kennedy Agyapong to stop intimidating delegates of the party; warning them to ensure that they vote for him in the Presidential primary.
“He cannot intimidate anybody in the part…he is the one intimidating people in the party yet turns to cry foul. We will continue to support Bawumia like we are doing, and I believe supporters of the candidates will also continue to support their favourites. Nobody will be intimidated…The election will be held free and fair, and I can tell you that Dr. Bawumia will win the election due to his humility and capacity. I’m on the grounds and I can tell you with all authority that Bawumia will win…”, he said.
